These unique dipeptides were identified as proline-hydroxyproline, or “PO,” and hydroxyproline-glycine, “OG.” In vitro and in vivo studies confirmed the physiological functionality of these collagen-derived dipeptides as related to differentiation, proliferation, and migration of skin cells.
